shot and killed by male. and preliminarily, believe this was gang-related. when police got to the apartment complex, they say they found the victim lying on the ground in the multiple gun shot wounds. to u-m-c, where he dead. police say they believe the the shooting scene, jumped over a nearby wall, and left in a possibly an expedition. police say the victim was visiting family in the area, and may have recently moved here. "i can't say it's gang-related. he didn't have a gang history here. i have to wait and see what we come up with, as far as, you know, who the victim is and where he's from." police say this may have been a robbery. the victim's wallet was found near the shooting scene, but they are investigating

delegates, if you get enough people to get at least one delegate then those folks have to move over to somebody else" there's a lot more to the process than that. a number of mock caucus training sessions will be held here in las vegas leading up to the 2016 nevada causus. the democratic caucus is set for february 20th. the republican caucus will happen on february 23rd. one of las vegas' most well-known pieces of artwork was vandalized. vandals hit "the love locket" at downtown container park early yesterday morning. fox5 was told the alleged vandals hooked a truck up to the front of the sculpture and ripped off the front piece. the downtown project, which operates the park, says it did not file a police report. the operator says it just wants to the missing pieces returned so the sculpture can be restored. if you have any information that could help container park retrieve the stolen property... call crime

storm. thousands of flights have already been canceled in anticipation. (philip lowery, traveler) "i think that it could be, you know, disasterous for a lot of people trying to get out of town." united airlines is suspending all flights at its washington dulles international airport hub and at other mid-atlantic airports beginning friday afternoon. american airlines is canceling all flights in charlotte friday... and all operations in washington and baltimore saturday. philadelphia is also seeing cancellations. amtrak will be modifying its northeast train schedule... and the washington metrorail system will be closed for the weekend. i'm andy rose reporting.>> and with the storm coming... police in philadelphia want to remind people that they must share parking spots during the snow storm. but they do not yet know exactly why this happened. metro responded to calls of this shooting at about 9:30 last night. when police got to the apartment complex, they say they found the victim lying on the ground in the parking lot with multiple gun shot wounds. he was then taken to u-m-c, where he was pronounced dead. police say they believe the suspect ran from the shooting scene, jumped over a nearby wall, and left in a white s-u-v -- possibly an expedition. police say they are investigating the possibility that this was a robbery. "his wallet was there. but i don't know if anything was taken out of it. so some of the witnesses heard several shots,and then a little break, and then several more shots." police say there is quite a bit of security at this apartment complex. but they also say security doesn't guarantee safety. metro also says they have been here before -- specifically metro's homicide division.

looking for a black male they believe fled the scene in a white s-u-v. if you have any information that can help in this case, please call police. dave and monica? a former church pastor could spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury convicts him of sexually abusing young girls in his congregation. 59-year-old otis holland was found guilty on all charges yesterday, including child sexual assault and lewdness. holland used to lead the united faith church in henderson. several women testified against holland saying he took advantage of them when they were teenagers. holland claimed the women made up stories because they were jealous of his other relationships. many of the families affected by this case attended the trial, and say they were relieved by the

need. samantha raymond: he has been donating for almost two years samantha raymond is roger's owner and says she first heard about animal blood transfusions when her last dog was in dire need of the service following a medical procedure. following the transfusion process - she knew she had to pay it forward. raymond: im so glad that we can help others i cant imagine how i would have felt if my last dog could not have gotten the help that he needed from another dog i think its a great program. and im so happy to do it. the program is the las vegas animal blood bank and it gives animals in the valley access to life saving blood products. however- for all the good work that the clinic does - they're is one minor problem... kelly tantalo, technician supervisor: since we are supplying for all of las vegas - on top of ours - the demand is pretty high. so right now we have several blood donors currently but we need a lot more so we're definitely looking for quite a few tantalo says that on a daily basis the

several blood or plasma transfusions - assisting cats and dogs with anything from trauma cases to general recovery. recently a couple of their donors have retired out of the program - making a new class of donors more important than ever. tantalo: we have to retire our donors once they turn 8 years old so we lose a lot of them because of that. and so thats kind of where they're at right now. is just trying to find those newer ones those younger ones so we can have them for their 8 years and have them help out. and the experience is worth it. nats breathing just ask 5-year donor mack... david and denise heck : started about 5 years ago its been probably one of the most rewarding weve ever done this has a direct impact on saving a dogs life. they normally call us when they have a need and they're out of blood and we come right away. we're on a 24 hour emergency call so that a dog that's here already that's being operated on needs this dogs blood. at f5n llv>> your dog must be current on its vaccinations to donate. the only medications it can be taking is heart worm prevention medicine.

shooting in north las vegas, thursday night. police are still looking for the suspect, and say the shooting may have been random. fox five's nick lagrange joins us live near nellis and cheyenne with details of the investigation. nick? dave and monica -- metro police are trying to sort out the circumstances of this shooting. they can't say it's gang-related, at this point. but they do not yet know exactly why this happened. metro responded to calls of this shooting at about 9:30 last night. when police got to the apartment complex, they say they found the victim lying on the ground in the parking lot with multiple gun shot wounds. he was then taken to u-m-c, where he

police say they believe the suspect ran from the shooting scene, jumped over a nearby wall, and left in a white s-u-v -- possibly an expedition. police say they are investigating the possibility that this was a robbery. young girls in his congregation. 59-year-old otis holland was found guilty on all charges yesterday, including child sexual assault and lewdness. holland used to lead the united faith church in henderson. several women testified against holland saying he took advantage of them when they were teenagers. holland claimed the women made up stories because they were jealous of his other relationships. many of the families affected by this case attended the trial, and say they were relieved by the verdict. another dog i think its a great program. and im so happy to do it. the program is the las vegas animal blood bank and it gives animals in the valley access to life saving blood products. however- for all the good work that the clinic does - they're is one minor problem... kelly tantalo, technician supervisor: since we are supplying for all of las vegas - on top of ours - the demand is pretty high. so right now we have several blood donors currently but we need a lot more so we're definitely looking for quite a few tantalo says that on a daily basis the clinic conducts several blood or plasma transfusions - assisting cats and dogs with anything from trauma cases to general recovery. recently a couple of their donors have retired out of the program - making a new class of donors more important than ever. tantalo: we have to retire our donors once they turn 8 years old so we lose a lot of them because of that. and so thats kind of where they're at right now. is just
